The Last Report

Alright so as I said before, this is the end of this course so this is the end of my blog. I have no intentions of keeping it updated but I found it to be a pretty unique experience. Well for my last post I am going to try and recap the whole semester in the perspective of the four topics that have been discussed every week.

Mizzou's season could have been so much more because there was so many close games that were impacted by the most bizarre plays in football. The unranked Tigers led the #1 team in the nation for 3 quarters, the capability was there. On the other hand, I will not be too salty because I realize that we actually had a pretty good season and kU can't say they had a better record. Oh and by the way we are going bowling in Tampa, FL. Mizzou will play Wake Forest on December 23rd. I wish I could see the end of the Chiefs season right now like I can see Missouri's. Cincinnati continues to be our kryptonite but luckily we probably won't see them again. On top of the loss, we lost the #1 seed in the AFC to the Bills but we can finish with more wins than them and I am confident about that.

Fall semester sophomore year was a completely different experience than freshman year but I think that is for the better. Being out of the dorms and just in a house with my friends has helped me so much mentally.  This year brought new people to our brotherhood and with that came new experiences. In the beginning of the semester I was not very grateful, which was just because I owed so much money, but now I have been able to relax and enjoy the times we have.

Money has been tight in some situations and lush in others but I was able to survive on my own for a whole semester while spending $5,000 on a new car. I would say I was pretty successful because I also was able to live the lifestyle I wanted to, most of the time. My gf and I went shopping numerous times and I spent way too much on food as usual but I still stayed afloat. Going into the next semester I basically have the same goals. I have the chance to umpire a couple weekends early and then I know the season starts later so work will always be available. Most importantly, I will not have to work at Wendy's like last spring!

This area of study has really grown on me but the future is still uncertain. I can only do broadcasting for one more semester then I will have to go back to the other Digital Media classes. For now I am thankful to be able to continue these broadcasts and get better, I hope to be able to create connections and get in good with the higher up guys because society is all about networking. My career of interest at this moment is a sports cameraman so that is what I'm the most invested in during the games we do.
